I told the clerk what had happened and all she said was sorry. I had to go down to the front desk and ask for a change of towels in the middle of the night. I tried calling from the room to the front desk but dialing 0 doesn't work. It appears that the hotel doesn't expect guests to do any sleeping- or at least getting a comfortable nights rest.ĭuring my two day stay, I did not receive housekeeping service. However, the pillows are nothing more than lumpy polyester fill, and on the small side too. Regarding the beds- they seemed comfortable enough. I'm surprised that they are allowed to continue operations. Their mouse infestation is a serious health hazard - look up Hantavirus if you are unsure. As a frequent traveller with 25 years of experience I've never encountered mice infestations. The room was filthy and there were two very large hairballs in the bathroom- behind the door. The second room appears to be mouse-free, but was also housekeeping-free.
I went to the front desk and they moved me to a less spacious room (because they were sold out) without any compensation for the downgraded room. When I checked in I found mouse droppings on the nightstand, between the mattress and the headboard, and more in the bathroom.
I was staying here with a large group that was participating in a bowling tournament in Cincinnati (30 minutes away).
